28... Not so bad!

Today I turned 28 years old... and I have never felt better!  Last night we celebrated with friends and family and had a fabulous time!  It is so special to have so many amazing friends near by to share and celebrate special days with!  I am one blessed lady!

It's Spring!

Spring is here and so is the heat!  We have been busy lately with work, family, friends and crawfish!!!  Last weekend we attended The Woodlands Crawfish Festival and had a blast!  We enjoyed a great time with friends, awesome music, yummy food and a beautiful day in the sun!

Then after the crawfish boil Jennifer, Dana, Piper and I enjoyed Live at Night at Waterway Square.  Piper even tried out the fun pop up fountain... maybe she will like it more this summer!

Now off to dinner to celebrate a special occasion!

We are going to have a NIECE!

Last week we gave my sister and brother in law a "gender reveal party" to announce the sex of their baby... and we are thrilled to have a little niece on the way!  Olivia Lynn Mathewson will make her entrance into the world in July!  We couldn't be more excited!

Couples Retreat!

This last weekend we headed to Lake Charles, LA for a fun couples retreat with four fabulous couples!  We left early Saturday morning, arrived at L'auberge du lac Resort & Casino, ate lunch, then the guys headed to the golf course and the ladies enjoyed a relaxing afternoon filled will mani's and pedi's!  Later that evening we headed to dinner at the AMAZING steakhouse at the resort and had a wonderful time!  Can you tell we had a great weekend... It was perfect!  Time away with great friends... doesn't get much better than that.

And the next Bachelorette is...

Emily Maynard!!!  

She was the gal proposed to by Bachelor Brad... you know the one that did the show twice!  Emily is a mother of a sweet little girl and lives in Charlotte, N.C.  I read that production will move to NC to shoot the show!!!  I'm hooked!  Brads loss is America's gain!!!

Exciting News!!!

Jay and I are going to be an Uncle and Aunt this summer!!!!  We are so thrilled to share in the excitement of my sister and brother-in-laws HUGE new!  They are expecting their first baby in late July!!!!

This is how they shared the news with us!!!  SUPER CUTE!!!!  It has been hard to keep this a secret, but we are so excited and can't wait to meet little baby Mathewson this summer!!!!
