Congratulations Thomas and Shelly

Our good friends, Thomas and Shelly, found out if they were having a boy or girl last week and had a fun get together Saturday for share the news with everyone. It was so fun because everyone came dressed in "Team Boy", in blue if they thought it was a boy or "Team Girl" in pink if they thought it was a girl. Jay and I wore blue because we were convinced it was a boy and we were RIGHT! We are so excited for them and can't wait to meet little baby boy Sitton!

Thanks for including us in the big day and we look forward to meeting baby boy Sitton in November!

Jay's Soccer Game

Our wonderful friend, Courtney, recently asked Jay to join a co-ed soccer league that plays on Sunday afternoons and tonight was the first game. It was sooooo hot today so I brought snacks for the team... Gatorade and the famous orange wedges! Yes, I know... I'm trying to be a good soccer mom and working on learning the rules of soccer. Other than the heat it was a great game. Jay scored all 4 goals for his team and won the game 4 to 2! It was so fun to watch him play and be apart of something that was such a huge part of his life.

I had trouble uploading a video I took, so for now here is a photo... hope to be able to add the video soon.

They were tired... but won the game!

Memorial Day Weekend Trip

I know this is late, but better late than never... Over Memorial Day weekend my mom and I traveled to Salisbury, Maryland to visit my grandparents. We arrived Wednesday late evening and spent the long weekend relaxing, shopping, reviewing wedding plans with mommom, that is what I call my grandmother, outfitting both of them for the wedding, watching movies, and a wonderful crab feast at my mom's cousins house. It was a great trip and a nice escape from the Texas heat. Here are some photos from our trip.
Doesn't he look handsome in that hat!!!
Headed to the crab feast!
