Our wonderful friend, Courtney, recently asked Jay to join a co-ed soccer league that plays on Sunday afternoons and tonight was the first game. It was sooooo hot today so I brought snacks for the team... Gatorade and the famous orange wedges! Yes, I know... I'm trying to be a good soccer mom and working on learning the rules of soccer. Other than the heat it was a great game. Jay scored all 4 goals for his team and won the game 4 to 2! It was so fun to watch him play and be apart of something that was such a huge part of his life.
I had trouble uploading a video I took, so for now here is a photo... hope to be able to add the video soon.
They were tired... but won the game!
