17 Weeks Bump Update!

How big is baby this week? The size of an Onion!!  And weights about 5.9 ounces and 5.1 inches, head to bottom, in length.

Due Date: April 9th, 2013

Weight Gain: 10 pounds - that scales keeps creeping up, but Baby Boy Ingram is getting all the nourishment he needs and I couldn't be happier.  

Symptoms: Heartburn and indigestion... Tums please!!

Cravings: Hubbell & Hudson Bistro french frys!!  YUMM!

Food Aversions: Tomatos still...

I am loving: Celebrating with our friends and family last Saturday at our reveal party!

I miss: No misses this week... I am giving thanks for a healthy pregnancy and healthy baby boy!

I am looking forward to: Let the shopping and room decorating begin!!!

I'm spazzing about: That we know we are having a BOY!  I love being able to call him by his name! (We will share that soon!)

Best thing about this week: This coming Saturday is my 10 Year Class Reunion and I'm excited to see old friends and catch up on life!!!

Milestones: Finding out we are having a baby boy!

Movement: Just a little... no big kicks yet.

17 Weeks!!!

Our Reveal Party!

On Saturday we celebrated with our closest friends and family and revealed baby BOY Ingram is on the way!!  My sister and her hubby hosted the party and it was just fabulous... she pulled out all the stops and made the event so special and memorable for us.  The decorations, food, drinks and desserts were thought out and so perfect for the occasion.

Technology is so wonderful!!!  We were able to face-time with my grandparents who live in Maryland and my dad that was home sick with bronchitis.

It's a ....

 We are thrilled to share that we are having a BOY!!!  Our ultrasound this last Tuesday was so special and so amazing to finally see our baby boy!!!!  Even though I thought boy, I was still a bit surprised... I mean it was real and confirmed... and sooooo incredible to finally get to see him!  My hubby was able to capture it all on video so I'll share that video soon!

16 Weeks - Bump Update!

How big is baby this week? The size of an Avocado!!  And weights about 3 1/2 ounces and 4.6 inches, head to bottom, in length.

Due Date: April 9th, 2013

Weight Gain: No weight gain this week... :)

Symptoms: More headaches and round ligament pains!

Cravings: Jalapeno potato chips!! YUMM!

Food Aversions: Nothing new to report on for this one...

I am loving: We had our 16 week appointment today!!  Super excited because we found out BOY or GIRL!!  Sorry, can't share till Saturday.

I miss: Sleeping through the night... it has been a big adjustment not being able to sleep through the night.

I am looking forward to: Going shopping for our little babe now we know the gender!

I'm spazzing about: Sharing our boy or girl news later this week with everyone!!  We are having a gender reveal party on Saturday so we will share then!

Best thing about this week: BOY or GIRL... need I say more.

Milestones: We put the changing table together this weekend... photos to come next week!

Movement: A few here and there.

16 Weeks!!!

Boy or Girl?

What is Baby Ingram going to be?

A friend of mine blogged these Old Wives tales a few weeks ago before her ultrasound so I stole the idea and wanted to share my results!

Carrying high or low: Low = BOY!

Mothers Face: No weight gain in my face = BOY!

Morning sickness: They say that little girls make their mama's sick and I have certainly been sick which I indicates GIRL!

Cold Feet: My feet are colder than they were before pregnancy = BOY!

Soft or dry skin? Mine has been extremely dry which indicates BOY!

Have you felt glowing or less than beautiful and had lots of breakouts? I have had no breakouts whatsoever but I normally have very clear skin so I don't know how to take this one! But little girls are supposed to cause breakouts so... BOY!

Pillow Direction: This is a really funny one... my pillow faces north when I sleep so...  BOY!

Heartbeat indicator: Our first ultrasound the heard beat was under 140 which = BOY... but the second was above 140 which = GIRL! So no telling on this one...

Pendulum test: I did this quite a few times and it always says BOY!

Dreams- Some people say whatever you dream about is what you are having. I have had quite a few boy dreams so BOY!

Age/number game: My age at time of conception, 28, and the number of the month we conceived, July = 7; add them together and the sum is 35, which is odd = GIRL!

My guess is BOY... But my hubbies guess is GIRL... What is your guess??? Be sure to vote in the poll on the left side of the blog before Saturday when we will make the BIG announcement!!!

Special Weekend!

This weekend my niece was Baptized in our home church in front of so many wonderful friends and family.  The service was also streamed live online so family that is out of town/state could enjoy the special day as well.

15 Weeks!!

How big is baby this week? The size of an Orange!!  And weights about 2 1/2 ounces and 4 inches, head to bottom, in length.

Due Date: April 9th, 2013 - 25 weeks to go!!!

Weight Gain: 7 lbs to date

Symptoms: Headaches, headaches and more headaches!

Cravings: Saturday was my first HAVE to HAVE craving... Ground Sirloin Nachos from Yucatan Taco Stand!  YUMM!

Food Aversions: Tomatos... weird right! 

I am loving: I have felt more flutters this week.  I've read that some have described the feeling like popcorn pops in your tummy and I totally agree!  Can't wait for more and stronger kicks!

I miss: A good cold beer!  I'm not a big beer drinker, but a cold Corona Light with a Lime sounds really good these days.

I am looking forward to: In 1 week we find out boy or girl!  EEEK!  I added a gender poll on the left column of our blog... make sure you cast your vote!

I'm spazzing about: Picking out baby decor and bedding!  There are just so many beautiful choices and ideas out there!  Where do you begin?!  I know... wait till we we know boy or girl... haha good idea right! :)

Best thing about this week: Celebrating a wonderful man, husband and father.  One of my best friends father passed away and their family set up an endowment and scholarship fund in his name.  Last week friends and family gathered together to celebrate his life and the giving of the first scholarship.

Milestones: 2 1/2 weeks free from tossing my cookies!!  This is a wonderful milestone!!

Movement: Yes, a few flutters and popcorn like "kicks".

It's a...: Not yet... will know in 1 week!!  And reveal it to the world next Saturday evening!

Exercise: Trying to walk a few times a week... and especially since the weather has been really nice lately.

Diet: Nothing new to report on this week.

15 Weeks!

A few weeks ago my hubby participated in the Montgomery County "Fight for a Cause" in support of CurePH, an amazing organization that is searching for a cure for Pulmonary Hypertension.  My hubby and friend of our put on quite a show!  Here are a few photos from my husbands boxing debut.

14 Weeks!!!

How big is baby this week? The size of a Lemon!!  And weights about 1 1/2 ounces and 3 1/2 inches, head to bottom, in length.

Due Date: April 9th, 2013

Weight Gain: 6 lbs to date

Symptoms: Nothing new this week... maybe something new will happen next week!

Cravings: Sonic Chocolate Malts.

Food Aversions: Anything sour. 

I am loving: We picked out the nursery furniture this last weekend, and I just LOVE it.  Babies 1st Furniture is moving locations and they are having a fabulous clearance sale so we just couldn't pass it up!  I'll share photos in a post later this week.

I miss: Sushi!  Chi is one of our favorite sushi restaurants and we have not been in so long... I look forward to having a Green Dragon roll in 26 weeks!

I am looking forward to: In 2 weeks we find out boy or girl!  We are so excited... I'm sure the night before I'll feel like it's the 1st day of school and won't be able to sleep a wink!  PINK or BLUE??  Can't wait!

I'm spazzing about: I have felt a few "flutters" and I can't wait to feel more and some kicks!

Best thing about this week: Seeing wonderful friends!  Tonight I got to see one of my best high school friends and tomorrow I get to have lunch with another best friend from childhood!

Milestones: Feeling a few flutters!

Movement: Yes, a few flutters; it usually happens in the evenings when I'm laying on my back.

It's a...: Don't know... will know in 2 weeks!  I've been having dreams we are having a boy, so I don't know if the means something...

Exercise: Trying to walk at least every other evening... and especially since the weather has been really nice lately.

Diet: Nothing new... Blueberry Muffins our my choice for breakfast!
